Greetings, Bobby!

On behalf of the UT Arlington Homecoming team, I would like to thank you and the Wheelie-ing Elvi for being such an extraordinary entry for the parade. Congratulations  are in order considering that folks are still talking about your performance!

The excitement that the Wheelie-ing Elvi generated in the parade was palpable with the sound of the mini-cycles and the feats you performed.  We are extremely grateful for your participation not only to represent community support for UT Arlington, but to elevate the enthusiasm and camaraderie with students, alums and parents that was clearly  evident with a diverse group of parade entries like the Wheelie-ing Elvi.

Although you beat me to the punch with your thoughtful email, our gratitude is beyond measure. As a UT Arlington alum, I am sure you are proud of your alma mater and hopefully, enjoyed your significant role in setting the bar for the new tradition of a fall homecoming celebration.

Thanks for Maving Up in a big way.  It would be great to work with you again!

Warmest regards,

I am speechless - that poster is absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!! Seriously, a great pic and its getting framed and going on my office wall. I've received some nice stuff in the past from sponsoring races and events, but this poster takes the cake for me.

Well, it also helps that me and my brother are Elvis fans - cant wait to show him this too. Minis and Elvis - doesnt get any better.

Tell all the guys thanks a lot and a very cool and thoughtful gift! Now gotta go show it to my wife and daughter :)

Dear Bobby,

For the 2nd year in a row, the Elvi have won the prestigious Spirit Award!! You all were the most spirited group in the parade. There are separate judges who do nothing but judge entries for their spirit.

Please pick up your trophy at Accent Awards 1815 West Park Row, Arlington, 76013  817-469-8791 Mon- Fri 9-5.

Again, Congratulations! Everyone in the parade really enjoys your entry.  We hope you will return every year.

Bobby, you're the best! Thank the Elvi for me. It's not a parade in Mansfield unless you are here.  Even Andy Binz said the Elvi kept everyone's spirits up on the parade route and in the lineup.

(note: it rained hard before and during the parade, however the Elvi stuck with it !!)

Thank you to you and all the Elvi!  We enjoy having you in the parade, and we know the audience watching it enjoys it too.

See you again next year,

Our judges were only able to judge the Adult and Children’s floats and they were sad not to be able to give an award to TWFWE!  The head judge wrote “GREAT” beside your name and asked that I expressed to you how much they enjoyed you.  You were amazing and EVERYONE loved you!  Thank you so much for making our parade so much fun!  I got a lot of feedback on how much everyone enjoyed your participation.  One of my goals today was to write and thank you.

Would you consider putting us on your calendar for the 2012 Wild West Festival?  The date is September 15, 2012 (always the third Saturday of September!  I am sure you will be getting calls.  Some of my colleagues from other Chambers were at the event asking about you.

Thank you for being with us.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I teach at The Oakridge School and my headmaster was at the parade on Saturday night...he wants to see about getting you guys in our school Homecoming parade next year! I'll keep your contact information and get back with you next year about it. Also, the text below is an email I rec'd from a spectator...it is about your entry...thought I'd share...

Brought our 2 & 4-year old grandkids to the parade last night.  We all had a spectacular time and had a great curbside seat on West Street - congratulations on a job well done to the planning committee and the participants.

Just had to tell you to please pass on to the Wheelie-ing Elvii - After the parade we were talking to the grandkids about all the different floats and people we saw in the parade.  They mentioned several.    Of course, they don't know who Elvis is and we asked them about the men in the lighted suits doing wheelie's on the little motorcycles.  The 4-year old boy said - "Oh, the men with their hair on backwards?!"  We died laughing.

Googled Wheelie-ing Elvii hoping to tell them directly but had no luck.  Thanks again for a delightful evening.
